Taking a Fort Worth Law Office From No Calls to Full Signal
A law and title office on Camp Bowie couldn't complete a single call or text from inside their suite. Here's how we fixed it, with the measurements to prove it.
The problem
The office occupies the basement and half floor of a three-story building on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. Inside the suite, staff couldn't make successful calls or send texts at all.
For a law and title office, that's more than an inconvenience. Attorneys and closers need to reach clients, lenders, and other parties during the workday, and a dead zone at the desk means stepping outside for every call.
Why the signal was so bad
Lower-level spaces are some of the hardest places for cell signal to reach. The floors above, the surrounding concrete, and being partly below grade all block signal from nearby towers. Outside the building, there was usable signal. It just wasn't making it inside.
The solution
We measured the signal on the roof and inside the suite, then designed a system sized for the space:
- HiBoost 15K commercial-grade signal booster
- 2 rooftop donor antennas to capture the strongest outside signal
- 3 slim omni ceiling antennas to spread coverage evenly across the office
The results

AT&T Band 5 shown above. Signal strength (RSRP) measured inside the suite. The closer to zero, the stronger the signal.
| Carrier (band) | Before | After | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT&T (Band 5) | −96 dBm | −56 dBm | +40 dB |
| AT&T (Band 12) | −96 dBm | −65 dBm | +31 dB |
| AT&T (Band 25) | −93 dBm | −72 dBm | +21 dB |
| Verizon (Band 4) | −100 dBm | −71 dBm | +29 dB |
| T-Mobile | −104 dBm (B25) | −65 dBm (B12) | +39 dB |
From a suite where calls wouldn't go through to strong signal on AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
For context, every 10 dB is a tenfold jump in signal power, so gains of +21 to +40 dB are a massive improvement. The office went from a space where calls failed to one where staff can work their phones from their desks, no matter which carrier they use.
Common questions
Can a booster work in a basement or lower-level office?
Yes, as long as there's usable signal outside the building. The donor antennas capture that signal on the roof, and the booster brings it down to the space below. We measure both before recommending a system.
Will one booster cover all carriers?
In this office, one HiBoost 15K improved AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Your survey shows the outside signal available for each carrier, so you'll know what to expect before installation.
How much does a system like this cost?
It depends mostly on square footage and construction. See our commercial booster pricing guide for typical ranges in DFW.
